RC RADIO SCAM ?

I really don't have a dog in this fight but what the hell... Most transmitters will be more than adequate as long as you have enough channels to grow. I started with a 6 channel radio because you only NEEDED 4 channels (Aileron, Elevator, Throttle & Rudder) and if you were really advanced, you used channel 5 for Landing Gear.

Then I found out about mixing and separate elevators and multiple motors.

Get all the channels you can afford in your radio and ensure that the radio/receiver combination can grow with you.

My original radio could handle 10 channels and 10 channel receivers were easy to get.

Then I needed a couple of more but didn't want to toss out all the earlier receivers. So I got a multi-protocol radio.

So stick with one that supports the most channels & receivers with large numbers of channels.

My 2 cents.
This is similar to my experience. I started with a Dx6i on my first Blade helicopters and FT planes, but quickly found that I wanted more channels and mixers. That's when I delved into the world of Frsky Taranis and OpenTX. For less money than other names out there, you get more channels and features than they have in their most expensive radios. It came at the cost of learning OpenTX and not having any real support, but I think it was a good trade-off. There are numerous Internet articles and forums available for the Open/EdgeTX playground. Now I've started introducing ELRS into the fleet and slowly replacing any old Spektrum and their knockoffs, as well as replacing older FrSky receivers. It's a fascinating technology and seems to be winning over folks worldwide.

In all honesty the radio is a bit confusing it looks very similar to a boxer but its a bit cheaper and has a colored touch screen its basically a jumper t15 in my opinion. And also wont this radio make the boxer obsolete ? Why would anyone go for a boxer when they can get this radio ? And the radiomaster tx 15 MAX is an absolutely hideous radio in my opinion.

My OG TX16s has the carbon look. Need to get the Carbon-ish front for my MK2. Been out of stock at BuddyRC or I would have done it already.
I got the silver case set for my TX16S because the original mid-case on mine was "disintegrating." I had never opened up this transmitter before, but I had several of the screw holes in the mid-case split and caused parts to come loose. I hope this one holds up a bit better.
