Antigravity or bust...
Get some serious oscillations at high throttle. Also a bit baffled why I get oscillations on Right turns vs. left turns. Ah well. We'll figure it out eventually.
Did you figure this out yet? Could a motor on one side have a mounting screw touching the winding?

It's a firmware/tuning issue. I just need to get out to the field and do some more testing. Been busy working on fixing/upgrading my junk XYZ 3D printer, catching up on mowing the flying field, and building the bicopter.

Old thread I know but does anyone have the BabyTricopter 3D Files as they are deleted on Davids site. I want to print the tilt mechanism from it.
I use a better tilt mechanism available on Thingiverse. There are several variations of it done by David's buddy. I used it with the Bicopter and on a snow skimmer too.

I also have several of the original tilt mechanisms from all the kits I bought.

Cheers!

Thanks Litterbug I found that after asking about the Baby Tricopter and it looks like a good mechanism and I downloaded the files. I am making one kinda like the Baby Tricopter but 10" spacing between the motors. I was a bit plexed on the tilt and was looking around how others had done it. I take it you like that design but I am wondering if my T MOTOR VELOX 2207 V2.0 2550KV will fit. I just can't seem to even make changes in Blender and it print right.
Thanks for the response, William

There are a couple different size motor holders between the two designs. You should be able to find one that works. I have used T-motor F80 Pro motors on a Mini-tricopter. These Turnigy servos are the same as the BlueBird servos that David used to sell. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy...-heat-sink-ds-mg-servo-3-9kg-0-13sec-16g.html They used to have two other variants that were faster, but I do not see them listed. I really do appreciate all your help , I can see that this will not work for me but it got me to think in another direction . I am using a 17g 9imod metal digital servo that cost me 8.00 Turnigy is a bit pricy for me and I bet it's no better. I am building with Lexan , stronger than Carbon Fiber , lighter than Carbon Fiber easier to work with. Machine-able , heat treatable and not dangerous like Carbon Fiber .... you can have the stuff.
