You could try the Kyosho Cessna, it's 3 channel and very easy to fly, but I would start outdoor with planes before trying indoor, as the walls creep up on you quickly:rolleyes:

Are you actually looking for an indoor plane, or have you accidentally posted this information request in the indoor plane section?

I'm answering on the basis you're looking for an outdoor plane. If I'm incorrect, I am sure someone can help you more accurately.

You could buy this "RTF" package.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=16542

or you can piece a package together, starting with the same plane...

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=18083

but adding a better radio to the package...

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=19673

you'll need a battery charger and some batteries...

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=15168

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=20822

You'll also need a speed controller for the plane.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=17793

You're going to need connectors for the ESC, and for batteries you buy that don't have the correct connectors, I recommend these...

Now, the item above is not from the same warehouse as everything else I listed, so they would have to be ordered separately. Also, never place an order for something that is out of stock with HobbyKing. Either choose another item, or wait for it to be back in stock to order it. Sometimes these items take forever to be restocked, and your entire order is held up until they can ship it with every item ordered.

So many here recommend the Bixler from HobbyKing. Either that one or the Skysurfer.

Both are outdoor planes and large is better but not too large. The smaller planes react quickly, wind is tough on them and they do break easily.

Look for the Bixler threads here and see what you think.

Hey, flightguy, you may want to take you street address off your location...I would say city/state is OK, but better to be safe than sorry.

About the beginner plane...The easiest will be the Bixler from Hobby King, they stock the ARF in the USA warehouse. If you want ready-to-fly though, I would do a SkySurfer since it's what the Bixler was cloned from but you won't have to pay shipping from Hong Kong.

If you want to piece one together and have done the research you can't beat a GWS Slow Stick

bicyclemonkey is correct. Although, with that much detail, I can say you have two great locations to fly right near your house. Both behind the church, or at the school on the two soccer fields.

yeah! that church also has a pond next to it?!?! Float fly!!!!! Learn to fly on the ground at the church, then put floats on your plane and fly off that pond!

You could put floats on a Bixler. Take the single float, and mount it under the belly, and make wing floats for it...

Heck, with the Bixler you could just attach small pontoons to each wing and belly land. I've seen a sky surfer do it without the wing pontoons!

Another good trainer is the Horizon Hobby SuperCub LP! Though I'm personally getting a Bixler...

I would really recommend a Bixler.

For the obvious reasion: It has been proved as being a good trainer, not to expensive and simply easy to use all around/crash resistance etc. so you´ll have lots of fun with it.

Man i dn't if u've bought a plane yet but if not check out the Wing Dragon it is cheap ,easy to fly and can do some simple maneuvers such as rolls and flips it is RTF(ready to fly) all u need to do is charge the battery and attach the wing it is very simple BUT WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NO FLY IT UPSIDE DOWN,ITS THROWS ARE SET VERY LOW SO IT WILL NOT GO BACK UPRIGHT ALL U CAN DO IS EAITHER LAND IT UPSIDE DOWN OR IF U R HIGH ROLL LEFT OR RIGHT.

My first plane was the Parkzone Micro T-28....but that was with quite a bit of sim time. But if you have a sim and know how to fly all of your planes, then it should be good...

All above suggestions are good , also check out the ANX floater. It is a real gem for a beginer. Heaps of power so will glide with the best and as you improve ,this thing can haul... Very forgiving and EPO so what hot water doesnt fix the hot glue gun will.
Happy flying...:D

You could try the horizon hobby champ. depending on what kind of indoor you want living room or big gym type place. If you want something to fly inside your house you could get something like the mini cessna and cheap. It's called the infrared mini cessna very fun airplane for rainy and windy days.
