Real flight

Has anyone tried the Real Flight app on their phone/tablet?

Curious about using it as a "training device". I don't currently have a working computer to get the actual RF sim. Is the app an okay alternative?

Generally people use sim with their RC transmitter as a way to get the muscle memory for real flying.
It’s probably fun on the phone but unless that’s what you are going to use to fly your plane, less useful than on transmitter.
You can get a cheap Wltoys Cessna for about $60 with a transmitter and battery all ready to fly, might be cheaper than fixing a PC if you want to try it out, it’s three channel with a basic stabiliser.

Thank you, my friend!

You might try Leo's RC Simulator on your tablet. It has the controller on the screen. It is in the app store. Its free, so worth the price:)
