Stopped flying just prior to the early days of the Pandemic when the FAA UAS registration expired. Retired now. Looked at the bins of new parts and the pile of trashed UASs kept for salvaging parts. Might as well try to fly. TRUST, FAA Registration, modular RID acquired, purchased a couple bnf quads. Now I have more of a reason to monitor the lipos. They get used!

One of my first builds was a FLiteTest foam board model. Learned about the waterproofing conformal cleaner, lube, waterproofer from the people here at FLiteTest. Lots of other useful information.

Thanks, the technology sure has evolved.
TX, OSD, FC, video systems... options today have all really developed to make life more "interesting".

A confession. Have partially gone over to the DarkSide. Looking for a digital video system I have adopted the DJI 04. Couple immersive flying quads and the plan is to use the 04 Air "lite" in an ancient electric launch sailplane. Was twisting my brain around how and where to cleanly attach the RID module. Finally realized I don't need the altimeter telemetry module anymore. Space for the RID module . 04 Lite is compact enough to fit where needed. No warts attached by velcro to the exterior of the sailplane.
