You've got yourself a little pocket rocket there!

So the vid showed ~2 min flight. That a full pack or did you leave charge on the battery?

I left a little bit on it. I ran 4 packs through it today and averaged somewhere between 3 and 3.5 minutes per pack flying fairly aggressively.

Awesome looks as great as it flies. Isn't it crazy how fast you feel like your going with that super wide angle lens? At least that's how I feel with the blade 150 build I just finished with the same camera.

Dan, I'm running the same batteries and I'm getting a good 4-5 minutes of liberated flight time with plenty left in the pack. This is with the nano tech 450mah 65c pack. I've read about guys getting over 7 minutes with a rhino 610 pack.

Quite nice coming from the 3-4 minutes on the overpowered 250 quad.

And that's flying until I have 3.6 V per cell left.

Hmm, that's when I've been landing mine as well. My build did come out about 15 grams lighter than yours, didn't think that would be enough to account for an extra minute of flight time, but what do I know?

I slapped on a 1300mah 3s for s's and g's the other night in my living room to see if it could lift it. Surprisingly it did, took about 60% throttle to hover. The battery was bigger than the quad, lol.

That's probably the difference, or at least most of it. 15 g may not sound like much, but it's over 10% of the AUW.

Very sweet. The really cool thing is you can bang it hard into stuff and almost certainly have no damage.

But the really unique aspect is, if you crash into foliage, it has a very likely chance of making it to the ground. And if it IS caught, it's much easier to shake or disturb the branches to shake it out.

I think 1306s will be too heavy. Especially since the largest props this frame can handle are 3 inches.

ok thanks.. reason i asked is a few months ago i bought some 1306 with the idea of getting a 180 frame.

so i thought id ask.. since the frame is so cheap. heh.
