A part of me has fallen in love with these tiny little guys, and another part of me recognizes that I already have 3 quadcopters and really can't afford another one. Awesome job on the build, and I can't wait to see more. This site makes me want to buy things.

Awesome.

Using a weight on a string works ok for around 40 feet or less, but I would much rather walk over and pick it up.

I would say it is. I suppose you could just go really easy on the throttle and fly it inside if you really wanted to though.

I would think the brushed micro quads are the indoor flyers. I am in a group on facebook for the diy ones

https://www.facebook.com/groups/custommicroflyer/

do you have a webpage that is not link to facebook? i do not do facebook.

i total my first nano qx.. i put it on the shelf waiting for a project that can use the FC and motors, as the FC is good, and 3 of the 7mm motors. seems 12.00 can buy 4 more 7mm motors. the FC is what is expensive not the motors it seems. but the FC did not get wrecked in my crash.. just a motor/frame/body that were lost in the big nano crash of july. laughs.

i think 1030 is the smallest brushless motor iv seen.

Very impressive. It sounds like a very angry little wasp, and looks like it flies like one too! Nice log code.
