Rubber Band Rant

One ritual I do before using new bands on my planes is give it a good stretch or two first. Many times a bad band will let me know right away it isn't up to the task by snapping me right in the back of the fingertip often causing a bad word or two to slip out...

True enough lol, that is why I mentioned I hate banding up my Slow Stick as it never fails to snap me a good one every time..double whammy if I get snapped by a bad band out of the box first.
