Probably repetitive but some simple rules to keep you safe....
1) never stand in front of the plane when battery is plugged in.
2) Program a throttle cut or hold.
3) When working on the plane/ helicopter take off the prop or undo the esc from the motor.
4) If you need to work on the esc/prop make sure when you throttle up stand behind the plane... not in front or beside.
5) NEVER turn on the plane before the remote
6) NEVER turn the remote off before the plane

I too have had 18 stitches because of not being too carefull. The 18" prop on a 2.6 hp nitro engine. I had the plane in a cradle with the wing off so when the engine started it jumped froward and got my arm above my wrist. It nicked my tendons and was in a cast for 6 weeks. You can not be to carefull!!!!

my Carbon Z cub went into my leg.. I was holding the throttle on low and tripped on my own feet a little and bumped the throttle. Prop went right into my leg, you could see the bone and tendon...
