Hey, I'm glad you like the project. I haven't really had much time lately, I've been busy preparing for a festival we're having next Saturday and I was working on this other model to take it.

I will be back home on Monday and plan to resume construction. It's not a forgotten project, so you'll have updates as soon as I start working on it.

I am loving this SBD! I tried to make my own during this last summer and it was a learning experience to say the least😅

I did not think the design through but I am still pro ugh that I ended up with this

I've been away from the forum for a while, but I'm back! There has been progress on the model. Later with more time I will post pictures of the whole process, in the meantime I leave you with the result so far.






The surfaces still need to be aged and I need to add the final details to the wings such as the bombs and rockets.

Hey! thank you for the kind words. I am thinking on a central bomb with 2 gun pods and also rockets!!! i like how the planes looks witn all those fire power.
I can't make dropable bomb . it is so small. only 1m wing span. and i don't like exterior servos.

Fantastic build , really interested in how you set up the split flaps and the mechanism workings, I have split drag rudders on my b2 and would to change the setup and looking for ideas

I built the whole system to make the flaps and brakes functional, but in the end it didn't work. It is a very small model. Maybe putting the servos on the wings would have worked, but I didn't want to break the scale look.
