Alright guys and gals, i need help trying to scale down the sizes of a xa-38 grizzly bear. I plan to use the old glow engines i have to power it. But i need help to scale them to the rl version of the plane
Do you have adobe reader or a program similar? If you open the plans in your program, there should be an option where you can plug the % you need to print the plans at.
They do have the full plane specs and have just found out that the engines i have put out around 1.90 hp @ 16,000 rpm. The full sized ones put out 2,300 hp @ 2,280 rpm.
You could print these out at the correct size you were wanting. However, I'd scale up the tail feathers 10% - 15%. That's what most of us guys do and it helps the planes fly much better.
