Today I built a miniture F14 based on a paper airplane I designed as a teenager. My wife had found some old planes I had made recently and it dawned on me that these could be upscaled to Foam Board.

This is designed to either be a chucker or an

That is CLEVER!!!!(y)(y)
I can't see a F-14 anymore without hearing "Ahhh Negative Ghost Rider, the pattern is Full"!!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Swing Wings on a DTFB Aircraft! That's so cool. Has the thought entered your head, to design a big one, with a 360 Degree Servo that could crank the Wings in and out, from a spare Channel??
Those also have a Flying Tailplane... I've never even HEARD anyone even mention doing an entire Horiz Stab swivel before (with DTFB)......
Do YOU know of anyone?

I mean, it was specifically designed for Transonic and Supersonic Flight, because of the Shockwave causing the Air in the Slipstream to be pushed away from the Tail Feathers. That rendered the hinged Elevators useless!

I've been seeing SO MANY really Cool Designs and Builds since joining here...
Yours is DEFINITELY no exception!!!

Chuck test, sorry about giant raindrop on camera.

Working on revision 2. For the chuck gliding builders, i am going to add a single wood layer in the lamination to strengthen nose. This will keep things from getting bent up from nosing in.

The wooden layer will also have a hook to be used with a rubber band launcher.

Wake up! Time to fly!
Me thinks you have mastered the f 14 mate. That translated nicely from paper to foam.

You need to get Tj to get these up on the website as speed build kits. They would sell like crazy specially if it were moddable to use the gremlin motors like Ben did with the bomber he just did.

I like @PsyBorg 's idea however it looks like you can more than easily produce them in house and sell the kits yourself. I have nothing against FT, but why not go through the whole process if you can do it yourself.

Larger distribution coverage as well as far more visibility then someone randomly finding a private or start up shop.

Send some kits to them like I did with my toothpick gliders to get the visibility and make sure to let them know that you sell them and provide a link.

Added a couple fins on the bottom for some added stability and moved the battery forward a bit. Really smoothed things out.

Flight ended early when one of the motors stopped mid flight. Later found out the culprit was an interference issue with motor mount. Of course we spent a couple hours looking for electrical issues.
