I know nothing!
Update time:
Got the tail feathers ironed and attached to the fuse. The elevator is upside down, but it's not the first time I've made that little boo boo. It'll still work.
So it was time for the turtle deck. After some trial fitment with the templates, I modified the pieces a bit and laid them out on some poster board. I got rid of the curve that went over the back seat in the rear turtle deck. I also got rid of the front seat and extended the front turtle deck to the rear another inch or so.
I liked the way that was going, but I wasn't really happy with it. I used the newly cut poster board front turtle deck as a template and used it cut out a foamboard front turtle deck.
I peeled the paper off of one side used the table edge to curve the piece, like FT taught is in the Master Series Corsair build. I liked the way that looked, so I did some cutouts for the formers and the top of the fuselage, so that everything sat flush.
I'm really pleased with the way it came out.
The inside of wings are pretty straight forward and follow the same procedures as used to make the preceding parts of the plane. The exceptions are the double-bevel and the shallow bevel, which I cut instead of ironing, since they'll be inside of the wing.
The second wing went much the same as the first, and now there are two completed wings.
Next step is to think about strengthening the wing struts, adding some cabane struts and stacking everything together so I can maybe think about a bit of color.
