Expert Crash-Lander
Hello, I am just not starting to get the parts in order for my next build. I'm planning to use a Ryobi 31cc engine that I've converted and throw it on this: http://www.spadtothebone.org/PDF/Ultra Spad Stick.pdf .
My question is about the servos that I should use. At first I was looking at these: https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idproduct=22528
They are so cheap and seem to have decent reviews. But, lately I've been reading that you should never cheap out on servos. So, I found these metal gear servos: https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idproduct=42431
They are about double the price of the plastic ones but they also have about double the torque. Do I need to spend more money and get the metal gear servos, or should I just stick with cheap, replaceable ones? 8 servos at $6 is a lot for me to spend right now.
P.S. I forgot to mention, if you haven't read the build guide for the plane, you should know that there are 2 servos on the elevator surface. Not sure how much that matters.
