I know this is definitely late… but better late then never right?

But I wanted to include a few more pictures for anyone interested in building the plane. How I routed the electronics etc.

Things to note are on the tail, make sure to not go crazy with the glue so the control rods are able to get through the skin as shown in the pictures. Both elevator surfaces will need to be connected with a section of control rod as well.

I don’t glue the front two skins to the model so I have easy access to the ESC/motor.

I glue the tail servos inside of the hatch section with looong control rods to keep the cg where it should be. I’ve found about an inch and 3/4 from the leading edge is about where it should be.

The plans do not include the cutout on the top skin of the wing because that needs to be trimmed and form fit to your fuselage as seen in the photos. I also like to flair the rear corner of the wing up a little to match the contour of the skin.

(Ignore the rope, that’s how I hang my planes on the wall lol!)

This is probably going to sound crazy but would like one a bit smaller maybe 24/25 inches wingspan,I have no experience of reducing plans ,will it just be the formers /internal bits that need resizing or am I wasting my time?As I see it reducing a 2d plan is ok for wing shape but as it doesn’t take into account foam thickness so it messes up the internal bits including wing spars and thus wing shape but dont want to reinvent the wheel when this is such a good design. This thread seems to suggest reducing by 30 % maximum is ok,any thoughts?Have posted your thread there for any advice as well, hope that’s ok.
Thanks for any advice

I reduced the plans to 78% to get it to about 25" WS.
Usually, you can reduce plans approx. 15% without making big changes. This is reduced by 22% so you'll still need to open the cavities/slots a bit during assembly.
Note the motor mount holes in the firewall will be the wrong size/spacing and will need adjusting. Just use the original size/spacing for the 78% firewall.
Servo markings will need adjustment.

Thanks for the reply,so is the attachment the bits you had to redraw ,if so might make use of them and have a 25 inch one !
How does it fly, what motor etc are you using?

Ok,thanks ,so no guarantees it’ll fly,for the main bits -wings etc should I just use Adobe ( now I’ve got it thanks to you)to reduce them?
