I am using a flysky fs-i6x. Im also looking for a RC Flight simulator that works with my flysky. I downloaded clear view software but it only lasted about a day the it says my demo has expired. I bought a rc simulator but it didn't have any to put into the computer to play. So I have all the cables from the simulator and I have the wire and dongle that came with my transmitter. I'm tired of waiting my time and money. HELP!!!

You purchased one but can't play it cause no disc? Are you sure it isn't one that requires being downloaded from the maker then activated with a code that came with the purchase?

No it came with the disk and all the cables, but after I download the disk it asks for a list of numbers and I have no idea what or where to find them. I just figured I got scammed from banggood

Don't know what ya purchased but Real Flight has an activation code inside the cd case to activate the game even with a disc.

Rc deskpilot works amazing, in pheonix you have to do some crazy stuff to get the controls right, but with the emulator it works too.

I initially used a cheap one that came with my Dad's Skyartec Cessna 182 called 'Cleaview RC'. I've since got RF9 which is way more detailed, but Clearview does help you practice all the basic stuff. I imagine any cheap or free sim can get you familiarised with the basics. Sims like RealFlight 9 I would say were better for practicing more specialised exercises.

I've been using RC Desk Pilot but the graphics are lacking - when the plane gets away from you it's just pixels. I'm thinking about buying the RealFlight Trainer version on Steam for $40. Going to try the Phoenix sim first though
Did you give this a try? We have the i6x and are thinking about getting the RealFlight Trainer edition. (Our first flights have been short and filled with carnage, so we are looking for some more training. :) ) Do they work together well?

I did buy and it works great. The training missions are nice to have as well. I had to also buy the USB dongle. I also got Phoenix up and working although it's kind of a PITA. It has the advantage of a TON more planes and fields though and it's free. Basically you need to hook up a joystick and download an emulator program to get Phoenix to see the dongle as the joystick.

They're both great for just firing them up and flying around a bit as well which is nice. RealFlight is tailored to the HobbyZone planes with their built-in beginner features as well but you can turn the off using switches on your transmitter.

Sorry, one more question. When you say you got the dongle, do you mean the Flysky sim cable or is there a RealFlight dongle? Thanks again!!!

I have Wings from Kitchen Sink Games. It has many planes including several FT models to choose from. With the latest Fly Sky software, you just use the cable that came with the radio. No special dongle needed.

I think the Wings download was $36.00.

Hi the Phoenix worked just perfect got someone else to load it up and gained a lot of experience using my own Trx but you do need a cleaner on your laptop as the disc has a few bugs.

Cleaner? What? I just followed the instructions from here: https://www.rc-thoughts.com/phoenix-sim/

I followed the second part under "Dongle is mandatory (Almost)!" where it tells you how to setup and use the emulator program. I have an old Cyborg joystick that I've had for like 20 years now that I just plugged into the back of my PC and left it hidden behind the case lol.

Did the install, then the updates in order as instructed. Also downloaded a bunch of planes and scenery.

Thanks, everyone! We got the RealFlight Trainer Edition and are rolling with our transmitters! I have a lot of work to do. Haha. I get turned around when I turn the plane to facing me. Hopefully time will help.
