Slow Stick without 3d printed parts

My first go at a stick with no 3d printing, all the parts are foamboard with a teeny bit of balsa and basswood. Wasn't too difficult, really. Seems solid enough, going to maiden today at the indoor fly in Kent. Used the standard arrow shaft, 7mm I think. You can pound a dowel into the end to anchor your firewall with a screw. It's definitely going to be heavier, but I expect she'll fly.

Yeah, it flew great. 2206 with 6x3 prop & 1300 3s gives 10 minute flights. It even survived an attack by a swarm of angry wingolas, notching one confirmed kill during the ordeal. A few nose-down landings didn't even hurt it much. I'd even say this rig is more durable than the 3d print parts version I have. It's almost identical except I gave this one just a tad more span and a taller vert stab with a 3/4 rudder. The new one is a bit heavier too, this foamboard I used is probably 1.5x the weight of FT foambard. Still, this one flies very predictably and turning too hard never put it in a spin. Had probably 10 flights and came home intact. Really pleased.
