yeah, thats fair, buts ometimes you jsut have eto spend a bit more for the quality stuff. But I find it easier to just build it myself for cheaper instead of buying.

True sometimes its just worth it because of the quality that u get.yeah, thats fair, buts ometimes you jsut have eto spend a bit more for the quality stuff.
When you fly in a small soccer field surrounded by trees, the first thing you should be aware of is the gusty conditions that can exist. So if you want to have a grab and go plane, it should have flaps, landing gear to protect the prop, and good stability. If fact, if your are trying to improve your flying skills, add a rudder. Then you can fly regardless of conditions. It's a small soccer field surrounded by trees
I personally love high wing rc planes some of them are very cool. When you fly in a small soccer field surrounded by trees, the first thing you should be aware of is the gusty conditions that can exist. To me, you can add the Aura to a high wing (yea, you hate it) but they are the best in wind. So take a look at videos of FT models and see which handles the best. Then build two and you can have a ball.
maybe, I am already trying the miniacRC p-51b, but if it goes wrong I might try it. Also I may be wrong but isnt the mini explorer 3 channel, and even if it is 4 channel I would think such a long aspect ratio wing would roll slowly. I will still consider it.Except for looks, the Mini Explorer fits the bill. If flying at a park around people, the pusher prop design feels a lot safer. It can fly slowly and therefore quietly, which helps disturb other people less. It’s also plenty maneuverable. It’s also super tough compared to other FT planes.
what makes the aura pair so well with a high wing? also, I plan on adding flaperons, and a rudder, and now that you say it, gear is a good idea. There wont be any people around, its a school that I am allowed to fly at after hours, so there really wont be anyone there, or if there will be, they will be on a playground far off to the side. What do you mean improve my flying skills? I already am so used ot a rudder I needed to relearn to fly bank and yank. if you mean for like acrobatics, I will keep that in mind, but I only really plan on loops and rolls, I just want to have the ability to do them. And the main point of the aura will be so that my dad, who I am still teaching to fly, can have a go at it, or so that I can have a relaxing cruise, ,as to not worry too much while flying it.When you fly in a small soccer field surrounded by trees, the first thing you should be aware of is the gusty conditions that can exist. Ok, thanks. I wonder why the mini explorer was made of the tenet already existed, it would seem like it fulfills the same roleIt has both a three channel trainer wing and a four channel sport wing. It‘s surprisingly acrobatic.

To teach your dad or have a relaxing cruise, another FT plane is to look at Sponz "Wonder" planes. I modified one of his designs and added an extra set of servos and it can be flown in a very small area and slow down and can hover. Pick one of his designs. Made one out of Adams board. Much better than a P-51 in a very small area. Get to know the janitor if you end up on the roof or trees.what makes the aura pair so well with a high wing? also, I plan on adding flaperons, and a rudder, and now that you say it, gear is a good idea. Where do u live where YouTube doesn't work ?http://rc-aviation.ru/cessna-150 , http://rc-aviation.ru/sloika-c-obemnoe-krilo , http://rc-aviation.ru/ultron3d , http://rc-aviation.ru/makep51d , http://rc-aviation.ru/news/619-konkurs/1263-aviamodel-mig-3 , http://rc-aviation.ru/make-model/photomanual/1111-mx-1 - All these models are in my hangar. I'm flying on a 10 x 10 meter patch. I fly fast and slow, high and low. Unfortunately, YouTube doesn't work for us and I can't give you links to the video.
Oh, good point on the wonder series. If you build those light, they’re great for small spaces. I built a full size Bloody Wonder and peeled all the paper, replacing it with colored packing tape. I then used a small F pack motor and a 550mah 3s and nearly got it under 250g. It absolutely floats. It can go super slow but also is very maneuverable. To teach your dad or have a relaxing cruise, another FT plane is to look at Sponz "Wonder" planes.
I dont think I have a single plane thats only 3 channels.Oh, good point on the wonder series. If you build those light, they’re great for small spaces. That reminds me of another good option. The Nutball! It’s only three channels, but can use four if you add tailerons. It’s super slow, turns on a dime, crashes are harmless, and it can fly hilariously. It’s the most fun per gram that you can get. 🙂
Thanks, that’s a great idea, again, I am already decently far into the build (and obsessed with the paint scheme I chose) so I think I’ll continue the o-51, but I hope if anyone else wants such a plane they can keep this advice in mind. I will also keep this in mind when choosing my next plane. @Foamforce the nutball isn’t what I wanted mostly cause I like my ailerons, I don’t like having just rudder, I find it relaxing but incapable if I want to do anything more fun. I will make sure to put a wonder on the list of planes to build though, probably the ARCN oneTo teach your dad or have a relaxing cruise, another FT plane is to look at Sponz "Wonder" planes. I really like the Simple Scout as just a nice cruiser!
