Looks like as of today they have there own videos, I'm really sad that they won't be making free plans for the mighty minis anymore

Well he wasn't very clear about it, but he said that they won't be doing plans for the minis. He wasn't very clear about it. I really hope that it's just temporary. I really want to build the corsair. You just need to watch the first few minutes of the video and he says that.
Well it sounded to me like he was saying they weren’t releasing plans NOW... but that plans eventually? I don’t know. It was one quick comment on a subject that’s very important to a lot of people.
Like just rip the bandaid off guys, put out a 5 min video laying out exactly what’s going on with plans, and why. Stop being coy and beating around the bush.
Personally I think free pans are going away, and they’re too scared to come right out and say it. But that’s just me.

Sounds to me like the free plans are gone in an effort to support LHS (and FT). I understand the theory behind it, but I think there needs to be more access for it to work. I wish there were more hobby shops around and did get enough support to remain profitable. I still remember the HUGE one I went to as a kid in Palo Alto, CA. That place was one of the highlights of my summer vacation with the grandparents. But now I don’t have a LHS that supports aircraft with more than a couple shelves in a back corner. I’ll still shop there for trains because that’s their main business.
The way FT is failing to communicate is the biggest frustration. Just come out and say whatever it is you’re planning or thinking about implementing.

I understand what they are trying to do but it goes against the original concept and mine
I am not going to be held hostage to buy a kit, I’m sorry but I’m just not going to spend my hard earned cash on a $30 kit when I can build it for five. That doesn’t help me out or stay in the hobby.
Call me a Scrooge, grouch or tightwad, I don’t care.

I m worried about the corsair mini v2 and the mini zero coz we don't even have the simple stick plans yet

I think it's just an excuse for how long it's gonna take to make the plans. They're going to be working on them the whole time, but it'll take them forever, just like the simple stick.
Calm down, and take a deep breath everyone. The only thing we know for sure right now, is that there will not be free plans YET for the Mighty Mini Master Series planes. Josh did mention that there will be a plan solution coming, but we do not have any details on that yet. I too, hope that we receive some better details and clarification on what that means in the near future.
Please do not forget everything that Flite Test has give all of us over the past 10 years. There are close to 70 free plans for Flite Test planes available for you to build. Please show me another RC business that has freely given away their intellectual property like that to get people into this hobby. They are a business and they need to be able to make a profit to remain so. I am sure that they have good reason and logic driving the decisions. We just need to be patient and wait to hear what will be happening with the plans in the future.

They did not say there would be no plans. There will be plans, and they won't be free. Probably, a few measly bucks or so.
They'll finally get the funding they deserve for working so hard making planes and free plans for so many of us, all these years.
It is a good thing, not only for themselves, but also for the community, and the hobby.
Give them a bit of time to finalize the details, and make a vid to let us all know the plan. No need to cast stones.

Not sure what you are talking about. I make the free plans. I do it in me spare time as I have a full-time job (not employed by Flite Test) and am also a husband and father of 3 with all the responsibilities that go along with that. That said, the free plans have been completed and available for download the same day that the build videos have been posted on YouTube. There have been a few exceptions over the 5 years that I have drawing the plans, but usually never more than a few days. The current timing of the releasing of the free plans has only very recently changed, and that has always been and remains to be Flite Test's decision to make.
Again, I have no idea what you are talking about here. The plans for the FT Simple Stick have been done for months. Flite Test has not given me permission to post them yet. I have been told that they absolutely will be released at some point. Beyond that, I am not at liberty to discuss anything more about it. It does not take me forever to create free plans for you.

Cool your jets man. Sp0nz can't just release the plans without their permission. That would be a whole legal issue I'm sure
