I am currently in the middle of a few new releases for Flite Test right now. I will get back to the backlog once I finish up with the new stuff. Triplane XL is at the top of the backlog list. If I had to guess I would say around Christmas time or shortly after the first of the new year.
Are there going to be any changes? Just curious.

Sounds like you're a busy man these days Dan, hope all is well lol. Sorry I didn't see ya at Oshkosh this year, last year of college blues meant I didn't get to go... o_O

No, just in how they release the plans.

Sorry if it’s an inconvenience.
ICYMI (In Case You Missed It)...

Flite Test is now releasing plans for new designs on the day the speed build kit is available for sale on the Flite Test Store. Meaning, the day of release, the plans will be available for download. For the first 30 days, the plans will be made available for FTCA Aircrew (paid membership) at no cost. FTCA Spectator (free membership) can purchase the plans for 24.00 USD (essentially the cost of an annual Aircrew membership). After 30 days, the plans will be made available to everyone on the Flite Test Store for 9.99 USD. They will still remain free for FTCA Aircrew members via the FTCA web site.

Hey SPONZ I was wondering if you knew how many sheets of foam the DR1 XL takes?
I saw a picture of josh siting beside the kit and the plane and it looked like 6 sheets. is it?

It looks to me like it's around 9 sheets of 30 x 20 foam board. The Plans might have more sheets depending on how the tiles work out.

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone been able to get plans from the FTCA site lately ? The reason why I ask the question is because I am unable to get the plans. The plane that I want is the Tutor. Only 6 planes show up on the FTCA site. Then I followed Sponz link for the Tutor and found it. The plans are $12. This is what I find interesting. The code for the perks is from May. When you apply the code at the store, you are told that the code has expired. I am an aircrew member with paid up dues. Has anyone had this happen to them ? I was hoping to be building this weekend.

Let me know what we guys think could have happen.

I'm aircrew also and I downloaded the plans for the Mini Explorer this afternoon with no problem. Did you sign in to the FTCA site?

I'm an Air Crew member as well and I see all the plans as free now, even when I use the link Sp0nz provided earlier in this thread. I've "purchased" and downloaded a few plans since that change was made and it has worked out every time.

I had the same odd experience as you with the discount code before they made everything free to Air Crew, but it's weird that we're seeing different things on the shop page now. It kinda sounds like the site thinks you're a Spectator for the pricing, so you should probably talk to FT support about that if it doesn't work itself out. Hope you're able to get the plans and build the Tutor soon, it's a lot of fun! :)

(This is page 2 on the site from my point of view, so there are more plans available.)

The site is working.
Be sure you're logged in.
On the main page scroll down to the Plans section.
Click the large Plans link just above the images of the available plans preview.
You should see at least a couple of pages of plans. There are 16 plans (currently) available and can be sorted via a drop-down list in the upper right.

Hi Everyone,

Update (11/30/24). Good news. I was able to get a download to work. The key was to click on the large Plans link. I did not know the word 'Plan' was a link. :)

Thanks guys for the help.

Pro Tip:
If you click on the title FTCA PLANS from the first post on this thread, it will take you right to the FTCA Store page with ALL the plans listed.
