I really envy the guys who step out of the house and launch! I'm in Hampton Roads Virginia (US) and we have every branch of military and 2 airports. My county bans drones in all parks and schools. Found one park 50 minute drive and that's what we have. Fly whoops in my yard below tree height and hope for the best.

That sucks. That definitely makes the hobby more difficult. I'm lucky, I'm one of those guys. I pretty much cross the street to fly. Only asphalt or hard packed dirt to land on, but only really need to look out for catus and tumbleweeds.

I'm one of the spoiled ones, nothing but corn and bean fields around me and I have a FRIA. Speaking of FRIAs it looks like there are a couple near you. Here's a useful FRIA map.
