we did the maiden flight Saturday.. we were not able to go more than 2/3rd throttle.when we did, the plane pulled hard right more than the control surfaces could counter act. our speed at 2/3 's was 149 mph
we are going to try counter-rotating props on Sunday

Sweet!! I've heard that having them spin inwards (towards the fuselage) is better.

We tried again Sunday with counter-rotating props....not sure what happened..
the plane veered to the right as it lifted off and hard rolled Left went inverted then face planted into the ground..almost hit another club member.( that was scary!! ) the plane only reached 42 mph before it hit the ground.
