Help! SPEKTRUM DX6i elevator stick malfunction

My Spektrum DX6i transmitters elevator stick malfunctioned mid flight. When i recovered the wreckage i initially thought that is was a servo but it worked fine so the i thought it was the receiver but also worked fine as well and i figured that it was m transmitter. I've tried taking it apart and clearing dust or looking for separated or loose cables but nothing to be found. Any help with finding causes and fixing would be amazing. Thanks

I personally don't use Spektrum but @Mr Man might know.

How old is the TX? Has it got dropped hard lately?

Could it be that only part of your servo is stripped or only doesn't work under load? I had that recently, where my control worked fine but when you put some resistance on it it would just squeal or only work sometimes.

It's easier to drink coffee and guess at the coffee grounds...There can be many reasons: loss of signal by the receiver, dead transmitter batteries, faulty servomechanism, faulty battery in the model, breakdown of the 5-volt regulator and external factors... My case: the model does not respond to the signal from the transmitter, abruptly takes off vertically at full throttle, turns around and rushes down just as quickly...Large and juicy carrots... by the very
the stabilizer. It turned out to be a narrowband transmission on a frequency of 2.4. I changed the field for flights.

The DX6i was a popular. almost budget. transmitter. Good but its internals are not "bullet proof", particularly the stick "pots".
I had exactly the same issue (but aileron) on one of my DX6i. I did notice the plane was behaving oddly and on the ground I noticed that the "monitor" display was not moving smoothly in coordination with the stick which explained the planes odd flight behavior.
Not easy to find a replacement stick unit and there is always the possibility it will be second hand and could fail in time.

It pays to regularly check that the "monitor" display moves smoothly with stick movement. It displays what the TX is actually sending so it highlights any "stick pot" problems.
I hope this helps.

Hmm, does sound like a servo problem. Maybe try a different servo?
Tried a different servo and a different receiver but neither worked the servo moves but only about 5 degrees when pitching down if that's too any help. I found a video on you tube with a similar problem but mine moves even less. Ive tried the solution he used but no luck.

Thank you, Ill most likely get it replaced.
