Help! Spektrum Dx6i Elevator stick not working

My Spektrum DX6i transmitters elevator stick malfunctioned mid flight. When i recovered the wreckage i initially thought that is was a servo but it worked fine so the i thought it was the receiver but also worked fine as well and i figured that it was m transmitter. I've tried taking it apart and clearing dust or looking for separated or loose cables but nothing to be found. Any help with finding causes and fixing would be amazing. Thanks

I've found Spectrum stuff to be OK...when it works. When it gets “the Gremlins” - watch out! We had a bunch of AR631 receivers that suddenly lost elevator control. A brand-new AeroScout worked just fine in the shop, but 2 days later, at the field, it failed the pre-flight check; little or no elevator! Solution: Use Lemon receivers. These Spektrum Rxs can't be trusted. In your case, you have determined the TX is the cause, so you might want to try a firmware update.

Thanks found the issue a little back ended up being just needing a deep clean I use a lemon receiver anyways thanks for the help
