Iam running a synapse in a turbine jet with a TV. The problem Iam having the TV is reversed. If I fix that the gyro is reversed. If I fix that when in safe select the TV is reversed. I can get everything working as long as I disable one of the following TV, gyro or safe. I’ve currently have it set up with all three available but safe is set up in panic mode that is on my button. I figured it’s better than nothing as it should at least level the plane for me if needed. I’ve tried all kinds of mixes to fix it with no luck. Worst case is I get rid of safe all together. I don’t need safe to fly but is nice just in case. Anyone else have this problem? Can’t ask Spektrum because there customer service is the worse in my opinion. Just in case someone doesn’t know TV is what Iam calling thrust vector. Thanks for your help

Gyros can be tricky to configure correctly. I have never used the Synapse, but have used several older spektrum AS3X receivers, and a variety of other gyros and flight controllers. It's possible that the TV control needs to be reversed in multiple places.
A few background questions:
Are you using a single or dual channel TV?
How is the mixing configured for the TV?
Is the mix configured in the transmitter or on the receiver?

When in normal flight mode (no tv) everything works but when safe is activated TV turns on and is backwards on only tv elevator. In TV mode everything works as should. I should note that safe in tv mode does correct properly but if u try to give elevator input while in safe the tv turns on and goes the wrong direction

From what I have read about the Synapse it should be preprogrammed and only needing tweaking, maybe need to start from scratch reload stock software and start over?????? Are you sure you are setting up the Gyro thru forward programing and not just changing settings in the radio which do not carry over to the gyro?
I’ve started over numerous times. Set the plane up for wing type, trim it out set the flap system, throttle cut and, servo directions. Then go into forward pg and first set up gyro. Ok that’s all working and normal good. Then safe select…… (crap) it’s backwards on the tv and activates tv when I really don’t want safe on tv. So weird I don’t even have the tv switched on… when it’s on safe works great iam either losing my mind or spektrum has some explaining to do on how they market this product. Your right though it’s kinda preprogrammed.. the ( WIZRARD) learning tool is what u run though to tell the system all it needs to know and I’ve even tried to trick it by servo reversing and gyro orientation manipulation all kinds of things to cheat the system. Like on my PowerBox igyro I can learn the inputs however I want but in spektrums wizard u can go stick up when it says stick down to correct the problem. I really wish its me messing something up but even so the amount of time effort and research I have into this is upsetting. Do I need safe… no…. But 8,000.00 in the sky why not have it available. Iam thinking next year a different choice of radio is my route do mainly to spektrums lack of being able to talk to a human for support without paying them or being on hold for hours or sending emails that never get answered back.
Normally I would be jumping all over figuring something like this out. I unfortunately have no experience with the newer Spektrum gear and forward programming.
