I'm debating whether or not to put squadron codes and serial numbers on it. The one I originally modelled it on didn't have them, and I kinda like that idea, but then I'm a massive fan of the Battle of Britain film....!

I hand-painted my Spitfire with a brush. A bit of a pain, but I got there in the end!

I'm putting together a video of my Flite Test Spitfire build using Sir William Walton's classic Spitfire Prelude and Fugue.

The wings are scratch built black dollar tree foam. Rest Is flite test kit. On my first wing I glued the spar on top of the wing so scratchbuilt them🤣 and yeah, build didn’t go the best, but it looks descent, and is fun to fly? Maidened it yesterday.

No it’s not a shipping container, it’s wider than it looks in that pic, it’s in a pole barn. I’ve slept in there some but I don’t have a mrs yet🤣🤣🤣
