Pushing my skill boundaries always leads to some exciting moments. Sometimes, a little too exciting...

I got complacent and cocky and wanted to do an invert in close to the camera. Then I forgot that up is down when inverted. My Spitfire is now in the Intensive Care Unit at the local Airplane Hospital.

The damage was extensive. I'm still trying to decide if she can be saved or not. No regrets either way. If I'm not pushing, I'm not having fun, and I've got to admit - that was a lot of fun! :D

Nice to see you actually do watch and learn from my videos. that's almost the very same lawn dart I did yesterday. Congrats

Ouch! Any pictures of the damage? It looks as if it crashed super hard, I am surprised that the pilot survived :). Expect for the end which was a pure pilot error (that happens to all of us), your flying was spectacular! Great job buddy, keep it up!

Thanks! Well here she is so far.
She looks amazing! When are you going to post the maiden video? :)

Well I ordered the FT C Pack yesterday, so if I can find someone to hold my iPhone, next weekend... 😃

New powerpod. Gouges and tears in the wing repaired. Extensive reconstruction of the nose area and some other parts of the fuselage.

Oh. And a new prop. ;) She's ready to go again! :D
Do you did snap the prop. It seems like some folks sake massive hits and come back with damage but an intact prop, and then I land, and my prop breaks! Anyone used a prop saver?

I know nothing!

I actually saw the blade of the APC prop go flying off towards the horizon, when it crashed. I ripped it right off at the root. I haven't used a prop saver before, most of my motors have threaded shafts.
