Spitfire in Europe

Hi! I'm a student studying in Hungary at the moment, and the spitfire design has really caught my eye - I am planning on building it myself. However, here in Europe, with us not having Dollar Tree foam, and shipping far too expensive for me to afford, I am hoping there are some European (or cheap Chinese) alternatives, that are suitable. After having looked around the internet for some time, as I understand most all foam available here is significantly denser than that used by FliteTest in their models. This would be my first diy plane, so I was hoping to do as much as possible strictly according to guidelines (simply because I don't yet know any better). What would you recommend, if my goal is to not change the plans (or only as minimally as possible)? Is ordering foam from TEMU or similar sites an option, or is quality unacceptable? How would this extra weight (if there is truly no alternative) affect flight, and building? Thanks ahead of time! - Botond

Here in the UK, I've built several Spitfires using generic foam board from a company called Hobbycraft.

Here's one of mine, built last year. 26 flights so far, and an absolutely brilliant plane.

Nice. I've done a few of these myself, including a dual Spitfire, like the F-82. They all flew great.
