Starting with an FT Explorer - good?

So after the P-38 race video they guys posted, I finally made up my mind to try FPV. I want to start off with an easy plane and picked the FT Explorer.

Anyone have a better suggestion?

I agree with @Merv it would be great plane for FPV. Especially if you have never done FPV before. It will fly nice and slow to help get used to orientation with the perspective. If I was to do FPV it would be the Explorer or the Bronco that I would start with. Actually I built an Explorer/Bronco mash up you might like. Check it out:

Yes explorer is a great plane. It was my first fpv plane and turned out well suited for the task.
