Storing planes without damaging them

How does everyone here store all their planes without them getting dinged up? Especially the corners of stuff like wings where they can bend easily.

I have an unfinished guinea pig scratch build whose wing got unfortunately pretty dinged up by a family member who moved it somewhere not great and now it's got several wrinkles, a bent corner and a gash in one of the ailerons. I'm sure it would still fly well but I wanted to paint this thing and might just redo it if I'm going to put all this time into it. Is there a way to store these things out of the way without them getting too dinged up? Or is that just something to accept? I don't suppose there is anyway of removing these wrinkles from the foam?

I hang them on the wall. The TT has some wire on a picture hook that loops over the ends of the wing BBQ stick and the Mini Guinea has an elastic band across the undercarriage that sits on a picture hook.

i am lucky ....i have a spare room just for the planes (one of the perks of getting older..kids flown the nest).
most have removable wings and they are kept separate on a rack ...the fuselages i hang from a pole at one side of the room ...the planes with fixed wings hang on hooks placed in the wall ...mostly !!! ,via loops of string .

I hang all mine on the walls. I have two kids under 7 years old and that's the only place to put em. They still get knocked down by the wife... Lol or get hanger rash going to and from the flying field but on the wall is the safest place. I do have a 3d printer and design/print my own hangers. I also use coat hangers in some instances.

I have shelves, and a trailer for the big stuff. Everything else is either hanging or leaning against a wall. Hangar crash is just part of the deal. Whether it be in storage or dings when loading and unloading.

I'm in the garage - I hang the big birds and stack the rest - all three hangers have not flown yet (vista is an FB wing with a bit of fibreglass on the surface - still to master the art of keeping my TT family in the air - getting there slowly!

Working on number 7 at the moment Pheonix Bixler Hybrid

So if I read this right, once they have flown they are no longer allowed on the wall and just get stacked in a pile?? :D

I have been storing them in the basement "hanger". Litterally a hanger. Notice the clothes hangers.
