I use a Hawkeye Firefly 8SE . 90 deg lens version. It's only recorded @ 1080 but very good quality and I can zoom in to get a closer view while I'm editing the video. Back in the day when I was reviewing action cameras , (over 50 on my channel) I was lucky enough to be sent some very good cameras. Still have a few of the better ones but not many with a narrow lens.

You can buy with 90 deg or 170 deg lens. One seller on E Bay asking £167!

I have it mounted on a baseball cap. So it's vaguely looking in the direction of the plane when I watch it in the sky, although sometimes it goes out of frame! Andrew Newton, RC plane YouTuber with 74k subscribers uses the same camera! I noticed it on his video.
