Are you superstitious? For example do you think its bad luck to fly your last battery pack? Maybe a certain table or chair you have to be in at your local club field.
This may be a reason I become Superstitious.

Yes I do once on the bench and once again on the ground, because for some reason my servos will majically go bad between the setup table and setting it on the ground. Never thought about it until now

I never say "just one more". Learned a million years ago snow skiing, bad things happen when you say that.

I think I might be bad luck for other peoples planes. Late last year I was witness to three maidens in a row, where all three maidens crashed due to reversed ailerons. 😭

I've done that, and almost landed it. If I Had only rechecked at the field....

I use the three strikes rule. Three problems before a flight and I move on to the next plane or call it a day.

It wasn’t me. Three other people maidened their planes and I was just watching. After that I decided it was bad luck for me to be watching, so I had to step in and help them check control surfaces before they took off. 😂
