Swappable Champ

Here is my Aeronca Champ, painted up as CF-JUU, which was the Oshkosh Grand Champion Classic award recipient in 1973, and which I soloed in 1978. It is basically a Simple Cub, with the champ fuselage outline cut out from drawings copied from the internet & sized to suit. The wing is 4 " longer than the Simple Cub, & about 1/2" less chord. I hope to fly it this weekend - expecting it to fly nice, like a Champ should.

Looks good. Change a few lines and dimensions an poof, a whole "new" airframe/model. Such fun. I hope to hear of your successful maiden flight.
