My computer is rather full, and I can't store photo's on it at the moment. My mother won't dump the photo's off the camera right now, so I would have to dump 31gb of photos onto the computer. When she dumps it's mem card I will put pics up.:(

Sorry, I feel guilty about not putting Pics up. I will grab my little Camera and use it if I can.

I will draw up some plans this week end, As I will have to Hand draw them onto paper, then scan them to the computer.
Thanks for posting the thread, I will need to refine the nose and tail, I can never seem to make a tail I like!:black_eyed:

Here is the parts list.
this will get you started, as I crashed the plane in 30 mph winds at lunch. Bad time to fly a RET Stick that weighs 350g!:black_eyed:
Will post Pics as soon as I finish the new craft, will post plans this weekend

Light weight/ indoor.

1X 24 gram motor http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...rushless_Outrunner_1500kv_USA_Warehouse_.html 2/1 thrust to weight ratio!:p

1X 10 amp ESC http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=30684

3-4X 3.7 gram servos http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...3_7g_4kg_10sec_Micro_Servo_US_Warehouse_.html

1X 370-500 Mah 2-3 cell batt. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...t_500mAh_3S_25C_Lipo_Pack_USA_Warehouse_.html

1X female JST connector. From LHS.

1X 2 mm bullet connectors http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...d_Connectors_10_pairs_20pc_US_Warehouse_.html

Or direct solder the wires, as this would bring the weight down for indoor flight.

Cheap/ outdoor, (also what I fly):

1x 24 gram motor (will provide 1.5/1 Thrust to weight ratio.)

1x turnigy plush 10 amp ESC, or ss 15- 18 ESC http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__33289__Hobbyking_SS_Series_15_18A_ESC_USA_Warehouse_.html

1x 500-1300 (1300 not recommended due to high wing loading) mah 3 cell.http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...y_800mAh_3S_40C_Lipo_Pack_USA_Warehouse_.html

1x female XT-60 (Hobbypartz carries them.)

1x 2mm or 3.5 mm bullet connectors depending on preference.

3x-4x HXT-500 servos http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/..._5g_8kg_10sec_Micro_Servo_USA_Warehouse_.html

Why don't you add your affiliate code to the link so you get a few cents from anyone who buys stuff on your list?

Affiliate code?
Hmm, a lot of simple questions...

On HobbyKing, sign in, and on each product page, below the sidebar to the right there is a textbox with a link in it. Copy that link for that product and paste it where your readers can click on it (e.g here). So if your readers click on the product and buy the product after clicking on your link, you will get a small amount of store credit. The aff link is this part pasted after any HobbyKing product URL:
My aff link for example: &aff=524347

In my articles on the site I have affiliate links, click on them and check the link in the status bar.

That isn't really boxy enough for the powerpod.:p
Hmm. Maybe I have to invent a round powerpod. That looks Like a turbo stick, I'll have to build one of those!

Good to know. I never stop to read all that stuff on the HK site. I probably will now.

Okay all.
I just tested the trainer stick, and Inspite of a 1300 3 cell, it flew very slowly and gracefully.
.
It also had mild acrobatic capabilities, but being a trainer, it doesn't need that much.:p
One surprising aspect, was that it went no faster above half throttle. I am attributing that to the Kfm airfoil.
It has unlimited vertical, despite the fact that it only goes about 10 mph when at that attitude.
I wouldn't recommend using only one 5 gram servo for the ailerons, as mine needed minimal throw to even function!:black_eyed:
I will draw out the plans as soon as I test it more thoroughly.
Thanks for the plan requests!

Hmmmm, for instance I ordered one a Turnigy 9x without module Transmitters click on the link and if you like it, order one yourself.

Which I did to fly my little V949 with (the stock TX hurts my hands. I'm a big TENDER boy) and thanks to a donation of a module from Lownwolfe7717 I have a module to use in it (PLUS I can stick my FrSky module in it and hack it for telemetry) and I recommend doing this to increase your joy of flying the little buggers. Took mine outside today. What a load of fun to actually fly the thing rather then try to hover in a room without hitting something that inevitably juts out in my little 2 x 5 foot flying area.

So, now if somebody will just step into my trap. I'll have to start linking all my recommendations that way.

Sorry, guys. I haven't been able to upload my plans yet, as I have had trouble with all the pencil lines reflecting and confusing the scanner.
I am working on some in sketchup, but I am still getting used to the program.
I will have them posted soon.

Vellum over your penciled plans and ink, ultra fine black felt tip will do. Single lines traced. That will scan perfectly for you. It's a pain, but I know an online graphic artist (cartoonist) that lays out his panels, then does the same process, they all do really, watch "Chasing Amy"

He pencils, inks, scans and sends them over for coloration and final posting. Amazing process. Will give you the best results.

Hehe, dumb question.
How do you attach plans in the forum?
I can't seem to find any way to attach them direct from the computer.
Any Ideas?

Of course you can. But you must click on "Go Advanced" just beside the "Post Quick Reply" button.
