Swift II build. Need some advise...

I used regular medium CA and I reinforced with 1*3mm CF

If I build a 2nd one I will move servos to top side instead of bottom as stock...
(will modify this one to top side as well)

I also moved battery tray to top side - you do not want to land on your LIPO...

Hot glue works great ! And it makes it a little flexible as well. I use one 5mm cf rod. Have pics if you like.

Fiberglass strips to protect the fuse when prop breaks (for combat)

3mm CF strips for ailerons (much more responsive)

Battery bay on top side
Zip-ty with quick release for light, easy and strong lipo fitting
Used epoxy to strengthen the bay, makes the nose even stronger as well

Lipo fitted (3S 1000mah 45-90C)
Very flat !

I have an 8*6 and do not want to go for speed - swinging lower revs but still pushing some air - and I can use 2200mah's :D
Also fly with 1000 or 1300...

I like the Extreme tape reinforcing the front of your plane.
Do you put another covering on top of the extreme tape to keep it from degrading? (It hates UV exposure)

Yes, just some hot glue over the edges of the tape where it touches the foam. You could use CA but again, hot glue is a little flexible. Oh, I used these for the leading edge and the back side .. amazing stuff and so cheap. 2 bucks for 10 rods of 75cm .. it gives the same protection as CF. Great for combat ;-)

Agreed- i use it on all of my combat planes. The only downside is that it is very UV sensitive and will begin to yellow and flake (if not protected).
We add a layer of clear laminate or clear tape over any exposed extreme tape on our planes

I added 2 strips of red and green...

Maybe some macro shots, how you fitted the LED strips? As I understand, you didn't mount them from the top or bottom, but from the front into the wing. Did I understand this right?
