Alright, so here's an update on my Swift II...I absolutely love it! Now I want a bigger wing to hold all of my FPV equipment. My plan was to purchase a ZII but now I think I need a Deep Reaper XL or the Hercules pusher version from our local Utah guy.

Ninja/ How do I get in touch with him? Is he active on this forum?

Sorry for the late reply.
Shoot a PM to LEE on RC Groups. He is active on the Utah County Flying thread and several others.

I'd say it's a little bit heavy with a 1300mAh. Get a 1000mAh 3s instead. Note that the suggested motor is a bit weak, you might want to consider a different one.

This is a great receiver for the price, works well with DX6i:

So what motor you sudgest?
what esc you sudgest?
ok for rx but some people said I must add the satellite reciver. I need that? (range without that is only 40 meters?)
thx
p.s:I buy also a parkmaster 3d so I need 2 rx or I can buy only one and change quickly? (I don't brake nothing on models?)

My OrangeRx has been tested to about 900 meters, not 40. No need for the satellite if you don't fly in heavy phone use areas. Some phones work on 2.4 GHz which can give you lockouts.

Get two Rx's. It's the best option.

I can't tell you for sure on the motor. But if someone suggests me a motor, I can point you in the right direction for an ESC.

So you sudgest only tow of them?

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...rum_DSM2_6Ch_2_4Ghz_Receiver_w_Sat_Port_.html
No problem with other th or rx like that on same area?
I'm a beginner you know that :)...so what you mean
It'll be fine with a 1300mah 3s battery. Just make sure to get the CG right
What I must do?
I need the card to program that or I need to do other?
This is the first time I assemble a plane :)
Other suggestions are welcome
These little motors with a 7x6 APC style prop work out well on this size plane. Buy a couple of them.

The Hobbyking 25/30 card programmable works great with that setup.

Those receivers will be fine as they are. Buy two of them they are only six bucks :)

Sorry, I don't know what you are trying to ask here...
These receivers are DSM2, will work with your Dx6i- no conflicts. Is that what you mean?

What I must do?

Understand from the instructions with the plane where the CG needs to be.
Make sure the CG is correct by adjusting the locations of the parts or by adding ballast.
This is going to be true no matter what size battery you choose to use.

I need the card to program that or I need to do other?
You don't need the card, but it makes things easier if you need to change the settings.
The ESC should work fine with the default settings as delivered but can still be programmed like other ESCs by listening to the beeps and moving the transmitter sticks.

Is this your first plane? If so, I generally don't recommend a flying wing for a first plane...

The problem of the link of AUS warehouse is: th hongkong warehouse doesnt have that motor disponible.

Yeah you can only order from one warehouse at the time.

So instead of getting the one that says AUS warehouse, you'd need this one:

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8139

That APC prop looks nice, but what for?

Today I bought the engine that you suggested and I have listed batteries (1300mAh nanotech). I would like to know if support is included to mount the engine?
I have to buy these, too?

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=8703&aff=484154

What are they?
thx
p.s:I tnk my serrv are no metallic..no problem?

I'd say a 1300mAh is a bit overweight. I'd use one of these battery instead:

This one for aerobatic performance: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=9491&aff=524347

This one for 3D performance: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=18205&aff=524347

Use this speed control: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=18005&aff=524347

--------

You can use those skids if you want - otherwise just put the servos on the top. They are used to protect the servo arms when landing on the ground. You can use plastic gear servos, but they can break more easily in a crash or hit.

The motor you bought comes with hardware - but it is backordered, so it may take a long time before they send it to you.

Hello, I'm just got a Swift II, and I'm looking to set it up to be fairly quick. Any of you have any tips for Motor & ESC combos which should work? Can either go with 3S 1000 mAh or 3S 2200 mAh, whatever works best. :)
