After min wax poly I sprayed with satin latex cut 50% with alcohol

The best part of building it was emptying the plastic cheese danish box so I could finish the canopy!

I didn't want to but I forced myself.

I'll have to remember the cheese danish trick....I was using plastic from a salad box.

One of the guys at the field just finished a GB in stick and tissue - he's a professional modeler.

Yeah, the cheese danish makes a much better canopy.

LOL, satisfying and kind of amazing. It's my first design using MS techniques and only the second I've done from the ground up. That it flies at all is more a testament to the Granville Bros. original design and to how forgiving foam board is than my efforts at tlr engineering.
