I will let you know when I see auctions coming up. Red deer auction is in june I think. But I hear of others all the time. One can find nitro planes for cheap at these.

That would be cool, never been to one. I have a friend that has a kit of nitro stuff like the pumps, tools, maybe a glow starter or two

I am going to have to come by hang out and get some more time on the sim for 3D. Built the FT-3D and set it up like Michael Wargo sets up his planes with throws and expo. I want to try it out but don't want to trash it the first time out. Might hafta stock up on cheap props lol

I was talking to @Headbang briefly about balsa kits and I am interested. I also want to toy with nitro. Maybe get an old used nitro motor for cheap at a swap meet or something, rebuild it and play with it on the bench. Then build a simple high wing or ugly stick out of balsa to put it in. Open up some other levels in the hobby

I also want to do nitro soooo bad!

All you who like boats, guess what - I do too! Here some video I shot at edgewater air park of driving my boat in their stream that runs through. My battery or motor died on my way up but it did way better a minute before.

I folded up the fuse, and glued on the two belly pieces. So far everything has fit very well!

when I started flying there were no electrics only nitro, you would spend an hour after flying to wipe your
