Made a bit of progress on the F117. Wasnt easy but I have the fuselage in place. Going to do some tweaks to the tail feathers since I feel it dosent look quite right and is rather close to the prop in the corners anyhow.

Got some work done on the Pe-2 I'm using wood glue on this one to give me so me some extra working time.

I think on the next design I do I am gonna use wood glue. Make sense to tape it as well, should make for cleaner seams I imagine

Same - I had a some issues with the Corsair. It ended up being pretty off centered (not really my fault - the alignment marks were the score that the sbk has to fit it in the kit and it wasn't marked in the plans) so I'm kinda dreading putting it all together. I do want to fly it though, so Maybe I can work on that this weekend. Hopefully I can wrap up a couple projects this weekend...

Playing with rendering in Blender- makes a nice addition to the plans for models like this one.

On that note, I have very little EDF experience, so I have not designed ductwork for this plane- could anyone give me some pointers?

Simple Stick is getting real close now to maiden. Little Turmigy 2826 2200kv motor , 6X3 TGS prop , 40A esc and a 2200 4S battery.
Landing gear is on, balance checked , just a few strips of velcro to add.

Busting out my FT brown foam and "old" B pack motor. I'm not 100% but likely will do my "big"(bigger than minnies and the like anyway) swept wing plane, with a two-step basic air foil rather than three to keep it lighter. I definitely want it to cruise slow and steady, but with enough thrust to maneuver well in rolls and loops. A decent top end speed would be a bonus, but I'm building this more as a chill cruiser. Should I prop it with 10x4.5 or 8x6 slow fly props?

Here we go with my 1st Planedemic Challenge build maiden. This is pre-flight pic. Can’t video the maiden but will post a pic of the burning wreckage.

Hard left roll on launch. Flew it inverted for a few seconds but couldn’t roll it back over. Easily fixable, needs dihedral bad. 🤪🙃😝😂

For my next trick, the maiden on my Bloody Baron. Remember, I’m not all that good at this. 🤪🙏😂

Flew real nice for about 30secs till I accidentally hit the switch to high rate! Too low to recover, went inverted & drilled for China in tall grass. Of course, the ‘Easy Brake’ FT ‘C’ PowerPack prop broke. Gonna try again, not so nervous.

Hi everyone

Dose this count?
It is a 36" full fuse Edge 540 build following the plans by billwhit.
It is a full Depron build with a lot of 3D printed parts like wheels, motor mount, servo trays servo horns (it is not easy this days to order something in Romania.
It is covered in coloured packaging tape.
I have to say it is my first build. I used to race rc cars some years ago, but never ever flight a RC plane till 1 month ago and it is a small 400mm WS RTF Mini Trainstar from Volantex.

I won’t stop building. I need to build now because the Bloody Baron flew great! Of course I crashed it cause it was way to hot for me with the ‘C’ motor, even with 60% dual rate. 😂 I launched & had it going great but It was so fast I lost directional control, but I kept it upright. Got control back but trying to get it back in front of me I flew it right thru the blazing sun. “Blinded by the Light” I lost it again & never saw it full power face plant. 😂😂😂
Back to the bench I go. I still have my ‘Bloody Mess’ to fly & my ‘Slow Ride’. I’m good & will keep building & flying. Both my Planedemic builds were way too hot for me with only 20 or 30 minutes in the air total time.
