Dear Chad I want to thank you all for what you do for the begginer as I have been away from flying for 42yrs. and have wanted to get back into it. I found your site and discovered how much electric flight has changed. I watched every thing I could find and most of what I needed to know was either on one of your videos or here in the forums. I found the rest of it on a couple of other sites. The bug got me and I thought it would be cheaper to scratch build than to buy a RTF and could get equipment to grow with. You should do an article on the real cost of getting started when you have nothing. To do my first plane (The old fogey) I have spent $325.00. Now a lot of my equipment will be used on more than just this plane. I like the way you get a begginer started flying then show them how to progress as skill do also. Just keep up the good work for all of us.
