The reason I said scale it down a little is because you’ll be using a much smaller prop since it’s basically an F pack motor in terms of the prop size and power it puts out. The motor @Matthewdupreez linked would be a better fit though.

Old photo of one of mine before it was finished. A really easy build, but it really needs to be a twin. On my list of "gonna do" items. Gave my white one to a guy at the field.

the first one will let the plane fly a little faster...
and the second on will let the plane fly a little slower....
slower might be better but @The Hangar Will recommend the best one. out of the 2

@keepitup I was talking with @SquirrelTail and he said that his felt very tail heavy where I had the cg marks. I personally like flying with the cg about 3 inches back so right under the second crease on the wing, however squirreltail likes it at the first crease on the wing, so I’d go with balancing it there first and moving it back if you feel the need to. I’m going to go out with mine today and play with cg and see how it feels balanced at t first crease as opposed to where I have been balancing it.

In currently building an aerobatic version of the stick (symmetrical airfoil, bigger control surfaces etc) and it balances *terribly* on the stock CG mark. since you fly with the CG a lot further back (which Im pretty sure is also beneficial for aerobatics), moving the CG back to 3" from the LE could be an option right? I don't want to add a ton of ballast and I think that moving the CG back is probably the best option.

Yes, 3” back has worked well for me.

Also, does anybody have a link to a cheap motor that is really close or equivalent to the c pack motor? I want to build a number of c pack planes, but I don't want to pay for the actual c pack since it's kind of expensive.
