The Stiletto - a Simple Push-Pull Delta

I've been doing some design work (aka thinking) and I have decided to try to do a very similar plane to how the current prototype ended up. The next revision will be focused on doing the same things that ended up working last time right the first time. I figure gluing the fuselage once instead of many times, having the extension built in, and having the tail fin start at the right size will save weight. I don't know that I'll be able to get it under 300g using the Elmer's foamboard I use, but it should be a little better. I'm going to try the sandwich airfoil first, and if it doesnt work I'll go to steps. I think I'll acommodate the stepped airfoil in plans, but having that much of the wing area be a single sheet of foamboard doesn't sit well with me on a plane with this high wing loading. I've also thought about adding a rudder, as if my flights have been any indication, it would benefit from one, but I want to move the cg even a little further forward than it already is, so that could be a complication.

If the next version turns out good, I'll be making beta plans. Would any of you be willing to build one and help me refine further? I can make it to my preferences, but I think some feedback would be very helpful to make it suitable for a wider audience.

I've added vent holes in anticipation of the esc's not being happy with no airflow. Online thrust calculators put it at between 3 and 4lbs of static thrust. Though it's likely a little less, it's still a hilarious amount of power for the weight of this plane. I just throttled it all the way up while holding it the first time, and it was very impressive.
You copied my notebook again! how do you do this

no, i mean the whole friggin plane!!!! i could post a pic of my notebook, but then youd copy my other designs :ROFLMAO:
no but really, that delta was in my notebook a few months ago before i joined the ft forums
epic coincidence?

The design was largely determined by ease of construction. The triangular wing and box fuselage are very easy to build, and the tail fin was sized up as a practical matter. Same with the push-pull configuration; it's the easiest way to make it a twin while keeping the balance in check.
