If Banggood do it'll be like the rest of their offerings, absolute garbage 90% of the time.
I haven't seen anything to put me off buying them, the only thing that Byte Frost has going for it (other than price) is the way it handles signal breakup, but I suspect once you get used to the DJIs you'll know when the signal is about to drop out, and who the hell in this day and age goes on a reasonable long flight without some sort of return to home feature? These idiots I've heard of that have lost their quads because the video signal froze half a mile away behind a forest and they instantly disarmed are just that idiots, betaflight has had rudimentary return to home feature for ages now, stick an £8 GPS on one of the arms and fly safe, I've only ever had to use it once (and that was because someone else switched on on my vtx channel, but GPS rescue saved me that day no problem).
As for DJI killing innovation as
@poor boy 101 says, I'm afraid to say that if anybody has been holding back innovation in the FPV world over the last five years it's Fatshark, not DJI.
Stu is just being a click bait hypercrite, most people been trapped by Fatshark for years. I've been flying quads three years now, for the first two I had a crap box goggles with a single antenna, this year I upgraded and home brewed a diversity module onto it, but my screen is still a crappy 5" 360p thing. I was going to get some fat sharks for Xmas, but why bother now? Fat shark have fallen way behind.
