Next step is to get a few flights in and if it survives, replace the camera with a RunCam split 3 for HD goodness recording.
Just realised I did nothing but left turns --- LOL, I was super nervous!

Decided the get the Runcam 3 Split and I'm taken advantage of the removable noses supplied with this wing. Moved the Runcam Micro Eagle camera to the other nose

and preparing the original nose for the Runcam Split 3.
When I wired this wing I took this option into account and left enough spare wire to make the connection nice and easy.

Been checking weights for batteries - 4x18650 L-ion will be too heavy making the wing way too nose heavy.
So went through several different props on a 3S 1300mAh battery to check the power draw, detailed below...
All measured at maximun throttle
5030 2 blade, 11.89A
dalprop 5040 3 blade, 16.25A
cyclone T5046C pro 3 blade, 18.76A
Azure Power 5050 2 blade, 17.21

So I will try the 5050 prop in flight and see what it's cruise amp draw is - expect it ro be around 3 to 4 amps. If its 4 Amps the cruise time on the wing using L-ion pack of 3S 2500mAh will be....wait for it...quite a long time

= 37 minutes

It was interesting to see the difference between autotrim, and airmode in the video, that river makes a good reference point of where the plane was is relation to where you took off.

I forgot to record half of my flights on Sunday <duh!> once I get a bit more confidence in this wing I will do a bit more fun flying.
Hopefully the HD camera will arrive tomorrow and I can make the video all the prettier.

Did some test flights this morning. 3S on a 5050 prop and 4S on a 5030 prop. I think th 3S is going to be the more efficient.
Good to see the Runcam Split Micro 3 is providing decent FPV feed AND nice HD video.

Just made my 1st 3S Li-ion pack for this. Can't wait to see how long it will fly for, hoping for 30 minutes plus.
