I flew my Mini 3 down to the lake today! (My drone did NOT like it with 20+mph winds and the freezing temps, but it made it!🤣🤣)

Y'all making me homesick for Minot Nodak, bunny suits, and 6 wheel drive trucks. Second thought, No you're not, I really like high desert cities on the left coast. Freezing to death at +26; any colder and the world is ending soon by being covered in ice.
@Houndpup Rc how are you dealing with icing on the drone? Never thought I would need to ask that. Even better, how do you find it if it crashes?

Thankfully it doesn't ice up (I don't fly it in heavy storms as it costs quite a bit and I don''t want to damage it!😆) I think its because being plastic it adjusts to the outside temps [pretty quick, so if there is any snow getting on it it just blows off from the turbulence of the props.
As for if it crashes...The plan is not to crash!🤣🤣 I fly up at about 250-350ft so as to get good reception and not to hit anything..The RTH is flawless, and DJI makes VERY good drones so I am not to concerned about it! Though with the cold temps i can shoots a few error codes that the battery is getting to much current drawn, but that goes away after a few minutes of flight warming up the battery.
