my successful flight log would be shorter and easier to maintain than my crash log.

I like your idea and its format.

Latest "crash":

This happened yesterday day while I was flying the FT sportster. I somehow managed to land on my tail and one of the elevator side broke upwards. I managed to jerry-rig it with tape as a strut, a straw I found on the ground and tape. I flew for another 5 mins before the wind picked up and a got scared. In fact the only reason I re-flew it with a banged elevator was because of peer pressure from my friends.

I was about to fix it up so I took some pictures.

Hey timmy if you don't want to crash I would suggest flying a soviet plane. With russian bias nothing can stop you from crashing. Can't pull up from a spin stall? No problem just press the Communism button on your transmitter and it will instantly recover.

this is clearly a joke dont ban on forum pls

Crashed the sportster pretty bad yesterday. I used the wrong plane in my transmitter, I ended up having all my control surfaces reversed. When I pulled up to gain altitude...smash! Lesson not learned from the corsair incident.
P1140508.JPG

The bottom broke off and my second last prop broke. The place I fly at is 5 mins away from my house so I quickly went back to repair it.
15 mins later , its almost as good as new! The magic of foam board! I added some Popsicle sticks at the trailing edge of the wing box to keep it from ripping of again. I flew for a good 30 mins after that, and I let my friend have a go at it too.

And this is why we do a control check before every takeoff or hand launch. Don't just waggle the sticks, check that everything moves the right direction.
