Tiny Trainer Modifications List

About 2 years ago I posted in the FT Tiny Trainer (Mighty Mini) thread a list of modifications posted for the Tiny Trainer.

It seems that there are even more modifications that have been though of and flown since that post was last edited and so I am redoing the post as a new thread so it may be easier for TT owners to find and then use as well as providing a thread for those who wish to link in their modification to make it easier to find for others.

The following links are for different configurations for the Tiny Trainer or outright modifications.

Another Tiny Trainer

The FT-Tiny Trainer is a special airplane for me. Very easy to build and very easy to fly. It's the first RC airplane I ever built and flew successfully. I got the urge last week to build another 4 channel for old times sake. Yup, it's still a nice flying little airplane.

I can't build anything by sticking to the plans anymore so it had a few modifications. No power-pod, it takes up too much room. The horizontal stab had to be up and out of the grass so the rear fuselage got flipped upside down. The ailerons are the full length of the wing and they start 1 inch further out so the rubber bands don't slip into the notches. The inboard wing spars are wood because the wing will fold there when you fly it hard. Stripped all the paper off inside to lose weight and skipped the doublers inside the nose to save more weight. Oh, and the tips of the wings and tail got rounded off so they aren't as sharp looking. Gave it a squirt of some acrylic poster paint and vinyl stickers to dress it up.

Has anyone though about making a twin boom tail version with the main fuselage reversed as a pusher? My TT is nearly retired but maybe it has one last incarnation up its sleeve

Something like this but a single pusher instead of two on the side?
Yeah. I was thinking of cutting the tail off where it starts angling back and then point the power nose backwards (and reverse the propeller) and attach the glider nose on the now front section. Just waiting on more hot glue to arrive and I'll get stuck into it. Kinda like this (tail section from twin boom ft explorer I'm building)

Heres my plans for a cub style mod. I used the cabin fuselage mod above then slightly lengthened the wings so that I could round them off. Very good slow flyer but didnt get pics before I hit a tree. I think I might add flaps to my next one. These plans print out well on 11x17, except the wing will need tiled

Can anyone point me in the direction of some plans for the single piece fuselage please? The link above doesn't seem to work 🤷
