Not sure if this is the right place but here goes.

but remembered this advice
Esc’s designed for multi rotors and have no battery protection. Get a protected one if you can ,worth paying the extra for one that’s not going to allow you to puff your pack.
Have these got it?

If not would I still be ok as long as I test run it first with a wattmeteretc

first one is noted in add for multirotors, helicopter and airplanes..... and have batteyprotection..

And the second one has no BEC so if using in an aircraft you have to run a separate BEC. You can tell by enlarging the picture and look at the plug that goes to the receiver 3 wires has BEC 2 wires no BEC.
