Hey friends,
Sorry for going a bit off-topic — this isn’t about RC, foamboard, FPV, drones, or flying wings — but if you’re into innovation and personal projects in the world of model aviation, I think this might catch your attention.
My project comes from "the other side": control line flying.
Many of you have probably seen pilots spinning in circles with their planes tethered by wires in a quiet corner of the airfield. Some of us actually fly both RC and control line, and while this modality isn’t the most popular these days, every bit of exposure helps.
I’ve been developing the LineMaster 2.4GHz, a modern control handle with an integrated radio that lets you operate multiple in-flight functions (throttle, flaps, lights, hooks, etc.) — all from a safe, ergonomic and precise grip. And no, you don’t need to hack car transmitters or cobble together DIY setups.
This project brings together 3D printing, electronics, functional design, and a lot of passion for pushing the evolution of a discipline that’s often seen as frozen in time. Because yes, flying on wires can move forward too.
I invite you to take a look at what’s happening on the other side of control line flying.
It may not be your main discipline, but who knows... you might discover something unexpectedly fascinating. I’m sharing updates, test flight videos, and technical insights from this personal journey.
Here is our Facebook profile https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61560480371015 where we post all the updates. I'm close to the official launch — just fine-tuning the details and wrapping up the quality control tests.
Thanks for the space, and for letting me share something a little different.
