ok my brain is going.haywire im traying to remember the part that the sticks move on the transmitter and it looks like a volume dial. what is that called? OMgG i think i just remember is it a potentiometer.

I believe the stick are on gimbals. I believe the lower grade gimbals use potentiometers.

Has any one had problems with their spektrum radios. my problems with mine that the power button does not work. so i have been opening the battery hatch and removing a battery to turn it off or putting it back to turn it on so far it has been working for me. but nit gets tiresome after awhile. so i decided to take a look inside and it's kind of disappointing really. all there is is a push on bubble. in which mine got a dent in and that is why the power button does not work any more. if you have a spektrum DX6e try not to push on the power button to hard. here are some picsof the inside of the spektrum DX6e.

It looks as if the bubble has shifted up, possibly putting it in a permanantly depressed situation, pull it with the tape off and re-center it over the gold surfaces on the PCB. The dent in the center is supposed to be there.

So summer is coming and i decided to take another look at my transmitter and decided to fix it my self and design my own power button. but like always something in my head tells me what if some one already beat you to it. so i checked thingiverse and dang some one did beat me to it. this was design by geostork gues ill be buying some one a cup of coffee.

Good stuff. I needed a drain plug for my kayak and found a wine stopper on Thingiverse which was a perfect fit. Printed it with TPU and contacted the designer. He added Kayak Plug to the description. LOL
